Hello and happy (belated!) New Year. How is it 2017 already? Not only 2017, but half way through February?? Yikes! The little baby I posted about last year… he’s nearly 9 months old and starting to crawl! At the risk of sounding cliched, time really does fly.
So, hot off the press is that Thoresby Cottage is officially in the 21st Century! Gosh, it’s taken me a while to get here (all things are so much slower with a baby in the house…so…much…slower….) but the new website is up and looking pretty, and I’ve got an Instagram account!
I’ve always been one of those people who buys a magazine because it looks pretty. I’ll page through and only stop on articles that have a really great title (or a topic that I’m interested in) or one that has lovely pictures. I’ve come a bit late to the party, but Instagram is great – it’s ALL pictures! What a treat. I’ve spent ages scrolling through posts and feeling so inspired by all the crafting going on out there. I love how it’s so interactive too. I’ve had tremendous fun interacting with crafters from all over the world. I also cannot describe the thrill when you see a world famous designer and blogger liking one of your little crochet pictures… true story. Confidence boost of note 😉
